By now everyone knows that the Holy Father has asked for prayers and fasting today, Saturday, September 7, the vigil of Our Lady's birthday.To this end, brothers and sisters, I have decided to proclaim for the whole Church on 7 September next, the vigil of the birth of Mary, Queen of Peace, a day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria, the Middle East, and throughout the world, and I also invite each person, including our fellow Christians, followers of other religions and all men of good will, to participate, in whatever way they can, in this initiative. -
I've been preparing for Our Lady's Birthday, offering my rosary for Syria. I look forward to the vigil fast.
At Fatima, Our Lady requested at each visit that the children pray the rosary every day, for peace, for an end to the war.
