Year of Consecrated Life
As Marianist brothers, we seek daily to recognize and witness to the presence of Jesus in our midst. We understand our religious community to be our primary community, through which we work to help other communities of faith develop, flourish and multiply.
Our Rule of Life calls us to live a common life of prayer, shared faith and transforming relationship, a life that helps us witness to the Gospel here and now. Living a vibrant community life as men of different ages, cultures, sensitivities and ministry commitments takes cooperation and mutual sacrifice, and we accept this challenge in faith.
We find in Mary the mother of Jesus our particular inspiration for family spirit, hospitality, simplicity and apostolic courage. No doubt the mysterious presence of Mary informs our way of living and working together in ways we don’t understand.
